Security Practices

Last updated:

Security is foundational to digital finance. LENDEN operates a layered defence aligned with the Bangladesh Bank ICT Security Guideline and broader industry practice.

1. Encryption

All traffic between your device and our services is protected with TLS. Sensitive data at rest is encrypted using industry-standard algorithms. Cryptographic keys are managed in dedicated key-management systems with strict access controls.

2. Authentication

We use multi-factor authentication where appropriate (PIN, OTP, biometric). Login attempts, device changes, and high-risk transactions are subject to additional verification.

3. Fraud monitoring

Transactions are monitored continuously for unusual patterns. Suspected fraud may result in temporary holds, additional verification, or account suspension while we investigate.

4. Customer responsibilities

  • Never share your PIN, OTP, or password with anyone — including LENDEN staff.
  • Do not click on suspicious links in SMS, email, or social media.
  • Update the official app from official stores only.
  • Lock your phone with a strong screen lock.
  • Report a lost SIM or device immediately by calling 16365.

5. Reporting suspected fraud or vulnerabilities

If you suspect unauthorised activity, call 16365 immediately. Security researchers may report vulnerabilities responsibly to support@lendenmfs.com; we will acknowledge receipt within five (5) business days.
